[VIDEO] — Smooth Grooves 25th-anniversary special this Sunday @ 5pm on CKDU 88.1FM

I will be doing a special anniversary show on Sunday June 18th and I’d really like YOUR help. Here’s how:

 

If you have a smartphone, you most likely have a way to record yourself (for example, the “Voice Memos” app for iPhone). I’d LOVE it if YOU could record a lil somethin’ about $mooth Groove$, whether it’s a message about when you started listening, how long you’ve been listening for, what you usually do while listening, comments about the music and/or special guests we’ve had on the air throughout the years, if you thought it was important to have a show like this on the airwaves here in Halifax, really anything that you’d like to say about the show. If you’re an artist, maybe the first time you had your song played on the radio and/or maybe your first radio interview was on $mooth Groove$. I’d love to hear from you too!

 

Basically whatever you’d like to say about the show, I’d love to hear from you. It doesn’t have to be a 5 minute message, but I’d like to air them unedited, so even 30-60 seconds is cool too.

 

My plan is to compile these messages and play them throughout my anniversary show, so if you’re going to record a message, please record it somewhere quiet so there’s no background noise and it can be heard loud and clear on the air.

 

If you’d rather write something, I can read those on the air too. Whether you’re recording or writing something, please let me know who you are so I can shout you out!
