Truro Home Video Archive is a digital archive dedicated to preserving and sharing the people, places, events and everyday life of Truro, Nova Scotia through home video and other archival footage.

Among its collections is Black Truro, which preserves footage of the town’s Black community across generations, alongside a broader collection of local-history material spanning several decades. Together, the archive offers a window into community life that might otherwise remain scattered across personal recordings and family collections.

Beyond its archival work, the project also celebrates Truro’s local history and identity through original merchandise, including designs recognizing The Island, the town’s historic Black neighbourhood.
