902 ManUp is a Nova Scotia community organization focused on creating lasting solutions to violence involving young Black males while promoting community self-empowerment, educational achievement and economic opportunity. Its YouTube channel extends that work into media and storytelling, providing a growing collection of interviews, conversations and community-focused videos.
Among its content is the Real Talk series, featuring Black Nova Scotians from different backgrounds discussing their lives, work, experiences and communities. The channel provides viewers with an opportunity not only to learn more about 902 ManUp’s work, but to hear directly from community members whose stories and perspectives may receive little attention elsewhere.
