Founded in 2013 by Roger and Camille Dundas, ByBlacks.com is a Black Canadian online magazine and digital media platform created to amplify Black Canadian stories, perspectives, businesses and achievements.
The site publishes work by Black Canadian writers and contributors across a wide range of subjects, including news, history, business, arts and entertainment, politics, health, money, parenting, technology, food, travel and social issues. Its opinion section provides space for Black Canadian perspectives, while profiles highlight artists, entrepreneurs, businesses and personalities from across the country.
ByBlacks.com also operates an extensive Black Canadian directory featuring businesses, non-profit organizations, artists, books, restaurants and other community resources. Its archives stretch back to the platform’s early years, making the site both a current media outlet and a substantial collection of Black Canadian stories and perspectives.
The publication has received recognition from the Canadian Ethnic Media Association and the National Ethnic Press & Media Council of Canada.
