M4 Media provides audiovisual production and technical services ranging from multi-camera productions and livestreaming to podcast recording, corporate video and post-production. Its services include livestreaming and hybrid events, audio and video production, studio recording, technical direction and show calling, graphics and media playback, editing, and other production support.
Founded by Gbenga Akintokun, M4 Media grew from producing local community programming into a production company working with businesses, government departments, educational institutions, nonprofits, cultural organizations, festivals and community events throughout Atlantic Canada.
The company also operates a production studio and produces Community Update, a video series created by Akintokun as a platform for African immigrants in Nova Scotia. The series shares community information, highlights businesses and organizations, features interviews and discussions, and explores issues affecting African immigrants while also seeking to strengthen connections with longstanding African Nova Scotian communities.
