BANNS Seeks African Nova Scotian Quiltmakers for New Black History Exhibition

Four people stand together in front of a large African Nova Scotian story quilt featuring a woman in a yellow dress, flowers and colourful patterned fabric. The group is pictured at an exhibition highlighting African Nova Scotian quiltmaking and storytelling traditions.

The Black Artists Network of Nova Scotia (BANNS) is seeking African Nova Scotian quiltmakers for a new exhibition depicting important people, places and events in African Nova Scotian history, building on the success of The Secret Codes: African Nova Scotian Quilts.
